Terrorism, more than meets the eye
Join us on Friday, October 7th at 11:00 am, where Division Chief Art Snapp, CPM will share with us his views on terrorism from a Fire Service standpoint. Art has been in the Fire Service for over 30 years. He spent 8 years as a full time law enforcement officer (a Deputy Sheriff for Maricopa County and later as a reserve police officer). The last 5 1/2 years of Art’s career, he was assigned to the Arizona Counter Terrorism Information Center (ACTIC) as a Terrorism Liaison Officer (TLO) working weekly on Homeland Security related issues. Art also served as manager for Homeland Security in the City of Avondale, and is a veteran of the 82nd Airborne Division, U.S. Army (Infantry). His son, Dan, served overseas for 8 years as a Rescue Swimmer in the U.S. Navy prior to getting his commission and now serves as a naval aviator. Art is retired and living in Dewey, Arizona.
